## NVIDIA

- New [RTX 50 series of Graphics Cards](https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/nvidia-blackwell-geforce-rtx-50-series-opens-new-world-of-ai-computer-graphics) Using Blackwell architecture. They quote the lowest costing graphics card 4070 will be as powerful as the last series top card 4090 with frame generation AI tech. - These cards are also smaller then last gen, meaning they take less space up in peoples computers.
- They will require more power, so might be hotter quicker. though testing will be needed to check how they perform in these smaller shells
## AMD

- [New Ryzen 9 processors ](https://www.forbes.com/sites/antonyleather/2025/01/06/amd-reveals-ryzen-9-9950x3d-and-9900x3d-gaming-processors/)including the 9950X3D. CPU focused on gaming with 16 cores. this will be the best mainstream CPU for gamers in the world.
## SteamOS

- Steam are now lettings 3rd party hardware providers like [Lenovo's Legion Go S](https://www.theverge.com/2025/1/7/24338028/lenovo-legion-go-s-steam-windows) to make handheld gamign consoles. To date only Steam had released their own device called Steamdeck.
- This should help keep high market share on the handheld PC gaming market.

Well, sort of... Designed for emotional interactions and elderly care respectively, these bots might change our perception of companionship and healthcare.
# Expandable laptop screen

But hitting a dedicated key or raising your hand to the webcam activates the motors and makes the display climb to a tall 16.7 inches, with an extended resolution of 2000 x 2350.
- Looks like crap but if more devices start to use this tech it will mean phones, iPads will change in size to adapt to a users need.
